Skippity Do Canoe

We bought a canoe in Michigan last week. We actually own a canoe at home and had planned to bring it but once we made a rack, put it upside down on it, well, it was ridiculously high. We left the canoe behind our house in Portland. Now that we are around all these lakes though, we changed our mind, hit Craigslist and $275 later, we own yet another canoe. We decided to do something completely different this time and actually put it on the roof rightside up since it isn't a flat tipped boat. Steve made a rack with 2x4's, bolts and eye bolts. Turned out pretty good and only took a couple of hours to make. If it rains though, we'll be using buckets to get the water out!
