Super Sexy Saturday

We had a kid free Saturday this week and so we thought we'd spend it together having some quality time. We first went to a giant not to be named superstore and bought bondo metal filler:) We also picked up 20 pencils for a buck and some glue for 30 cents. Seriously - 30 cents? Can you buy anything for 30 cents anymore, obviously you can.

Then we headed to the car parts store. I enter stores like this and immediately search out all pretty things I can recognize, like these pretty colored seatbelts. We were there to buy window tinting and battery somethingmajigs. As soon as Steve began speaking to the guy at the store, I immediately heard this instead "so can the 12 beefeater enter into the 2 olives by stripping away the tonic water?" "Sure" says single 30 something guy with beat up jeep that he's put $15,000 into making look really tight. "You simply cut the lime and strip away the skin, then hooking it up to the OJ and vodka IV". Anyway, $24 later we left with this stuff, really sexy cool new thingies. Yeah.

  1. this is appropos of nothing in this particular post, but having examined similar questions in my own house and looking at the remaining wish list - i'm wondering, why a propane heater and woodstove both?

also: a word of caution - get a carbon monoxide detector. especially if you do not/ can not accomodate direct-vent heating system(s). the tighter you build the place (and it's good to keep drafts out, i think) the more of a danger it is.

  2. The wood stove is for when we are in Pacific NW and propane heater for when we're in Mexico with no wood to be found. Yes, we will get a carbon monoxide detector. Thanks.
